8oz cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1c powd sugar
3 1/2c milk
box vanilla pudding
12 oz cool whip
1pkg oreos
gummy worms

Mix cream cheese, butter and powd sugar together.  Blend until smooth.  Mix milk and pudding in seperate bowl.  Then add cool whip.  Mix well.  Add pudding/cool whip to cream cheese mixture.  Blend up oreos in blender.  Line pan with 1/2 oreo crumbs.  Top with pudding.  Top with the rest of the oreo cookies. Top with gummy worms.  Refrigerate.  



Texas Sheet Cake

Texas Sheet Cake

2 cubes butter
1c water
4T cocoa

2c sugar
2c flour
1/2t salt
1t baking soda

1 cup sour cream or 1/2c buttermilk
2 eggs
1t vanilla
1t cinnamon (optional)

Frosting:

1 cube butter
4T cocoa
6T evaporated milk or half & half
3 1/2c powdered sugar
1c nuts (optional)
1t vanilla

In a stockpot on the stove, bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil. Remove from heat.  Add flour, sugar, salt, soda. Mix with hand mixer until smooth.  Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla.  Mix well.  Spread onto greased sheet pan.  Bake on middle oven rack at 350 for 20 min. Use a toothpick to determine if cake is done.  DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Cooked Frosting: Bring butter, cocoa and milk to boil  Add powdered sugar. Mix well with hand mixer.  Add nuts and vanilla.  Spread onto cake while still warm. 

Non-Cooked Frosting: Mix softened butter (can melt in the microwave for 15-20 seconds) and cocoa first.  Add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.  Mix well with hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Spread on top of cooled cake. 

Nana's Lemon Meringue Pie

Nana's Lemon Meringue Pie

1/2c lemon juice
1 1/2c sugar
6T cornstarch
1/4t salt
1/2c cold water
2 egg yolks
1T butter
1/2c boiling water
1t lemon rind

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.  Add cold water, eggs and juice.  Mix well.  Add butter and boiling water.  Bring to a boil.  Boil 3-4 min. stirring constantly.  Stir in lemon rind.  Best if you use a double boiler.  Pour into pie shell.

Easy Cherry Cobbler

Easy Cherry Cobbler

1 can cherry pie filling
1pkg cake mix
1 cube butter melted

Butter 9x9 pan.  Pour in pie filling.  Sprinkle dry cake mix over filling and drizzle with melted butter.  Bake 350 for 25 min.

1c butter
1/3c cocoa
2c sugar
2 eggs
1/2t salt
1 1/2c flour
1 1/2t baking powder
1c nuts
1t vanilla

Cream butter, cocoa, sugar and eggs.  Add dry ingredients.  Pour into 9x13 pan.  Bake at 350 for 30 min.  Spread with marshmallow cream while still warm.  Top with chocolate frosting. 

Scotchies

1c sugar
1c karo syrup
5c rice krispies
1c peanut butter
1c choc chips
1c butterscotch chips
1t vanills

Bring sugar and karo to boil.  Add peanut butter.  Mix in rice krispies.  Spread in greased 9x13 pan.  Melt choc and butterscotch chips and spread on top.
